Deckorators has introduced three new accessory options for the ALX aluminum railing series: aluminum deck gates, continuous top brackets and post extensions for hanging up fairy lights.
ALX aluminum post extensions, designed for use with 2½ x 2½ posts in the modern ALX Classic and ALX railing systems, allow users to easily install and hang outdoor lighting, including string lights or cafe lighting. The extensions are available in a textured black finish and measure 66 inches (5 1/2 feet) high. They extend 39 “railing posts into 105” posts or 44 “posts into 110” posts. Each has a pre-installed insert and snap hook for installation.
The aluminum deck gate, which was developed for use with ALX Contemporary deck railings, is 48 inches wide and available in textured black or textured white. By default, the gate fits a railing height of 36 inches. Goal post kits are available for railing heights of 36 “and 42”. During installation, builders are instructed to cut the surrounding railing and install it using the brackets provided. Hardware, hinges, and a latch are included.
The continuous top rail mounts, also developed for ALX Contemporary, offer a continuous aesthetic alternative to a conventional top finish with post and post cap.
