SOUTHFIELD, me. (FOX 2) – – A 48-year-old man was shot and killed while carjacking outside a house in Southfield on Sunday evening, police said.

Police were called shortly before 8 p.m. after gunfire was heard in the 26000 block of Primary Drive, which is near Franklin and the Northwestern Highway. When the police came into the neighborhood, a man was found in a driveway.

Police say the man was shot in the chest and thigh. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they believe the man was stolen when he got home.

Police currently don’t have much information on a suspect other than that the suspect was last seen leaving the area on the victim’s 2013 white Toyota Tundra.
