Doors of Insanity appears to be similar to Slay the Spire, which is a turn-based rogue-style card game. However, the game seems completely more punitive if the trailer featured is something to watch. The trailer has a nice comedy feel to it, and even the narrator is frustrated with how easily the player and his group are wiped out.
There also seems to be its own path mechanic that feels a lot like Hand of Fate.
Doors of Insanity is described by the developer as follows:
Doors of Insanity is a new rogue-like turn-based card game. You have to reach the top floor to get out of the eternal limbo in which you find yourself in this mysterious fantasy world.
There is currently no release date available, but you can currently add the game to your wishlist on Steam to be notified when the release approaches.
