Since Slay the Spire’s iOS release last June, Android players have been waiting for news on when they can play the groundbreaking roguelike deck builder in a format of their choice. Publisher Humble Games announced yesterday that they won’t have to wait long. Slay the Spire will be released on February 3rd for Android.
If you’re not familiar, Slay the Spire is a rogue deck builder that was released for PC in 2019 after staying in Early Access since 2017. Since then, it has been a very influential game within the villainous deck-building subgenre, with a host of similar titles being created along the way.

You work your way through the title tower and use cards to fight numerous monsters. The further you advance in each run, the more cards will be added to your deck. Every now and then you will be given a selection of cards to add to your roster. It is important to look for synergies in order to create devastating combos.
In addition to collecting cards, there are also powerful relics that you can collect on your journey. These can further improve the power of your current deck through additional interactions, although some relics cost more than just gold to purchase. Once again, your choice of Relic will be influenced by the cards in your deck in that particular run.
Slay the Spire will be available soon on Google Play, while you can get it right now on the App Store. It’s a premium title that costs $ 9.99.
