阿克伦警察局就周日早上在一所房子的车道上发现的两人死亡事件提供了补充信息。
The victims were identified as 43-year-old Horace Lee and his 1-year-old daughter Azeria Tucker. Her death is being investigated as murder.
Officers replied to a house on 400 block of Crouse Street around 10 a.m. after bystanders discovered Lee and his daughter had stopped responding in the driveway. When EMS arrived, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Although the investigation is still in its infancy, detectives believe Lee was pushing his daughter on the sidewalk in a stroller when the suspect, who was driving an unidentified vehicle, deliberately hit and killed the victims.
Since Sunday morning, detectives have been looking for surveillance cameras in the area to get a video of the vehicle used. If you have information, call the Akron Police Department Detective Bureau at 330-375-2490 or 330-375-2Tip.
You can also contact Summit County’s Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS or text TIPSCO with your tips at 274637. Callers can remain anonymous.
