In addition to some helpful cards to start the build, the Trainer Toolkit provides players with card sleeves, dice, condition markers, deck building instructions, and the Pokémon TCG rulebook. Some of the included cards such as Pokégear 3.0, Pokémon Communication and Reset Stamp will also have new card images.

And for players who want to compete online using the Pokémon TCG Online app, the toolkit includes a code that allows them to receive digital versions of most of the goods in the physical set.
