Rise of the Slime, a roguelike indie deck builder, is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X in just under two weeks S.
The game, which was playable in Early Access on Steam, features a side-scrolling adventure with the depth of a tactical deck builder. You play as a slime and try to overcome the odds by using the right combination of cards in turn-based positional combat against your enemies. With 100 magical cards to start with and a unique paper-based art style, there’s plenty of variety.
“This has been my love work since 2018,” said Maris Bunkovskis, the game’s solo developer.
“Thank you to our community for helping me bring this game up to date. I’m really looking forward to getting the little slime out of Early Access on May 20th, and I hope you will enjoy the game and have some good times with it. “
