However, the company suggests that people looking to purchase a flamethrower first check with their local laws and regulations.

Surprisingly, the flamethrower was an effective strategy for clearing snow. When asked if the melted snow would freeze, Browning confirmed it wasn’t.

“[The flame] shoots to over 1,000 [degrees]. It evaporated absolutely everything it touched, ”he said to Snopes.

Browning said he usually makes campfires with the flamethrower, but finding a reason to use it in winter was a plus.

“My son and I used to scrape off the snow with shovels, but there was still a thick layer of ice. My grandmother and mother came over and we didn’t want them to fall, ”he said. “I thought, why don’t you try this? It worked great. “

Regarding his slumber party attire, Browning said he was 100% inspired by cousin Eddie.

“Our Christmas party this year was canceled due to COVID, and that was my outfit for it. I thought I would wear it so my wife, kids and friends would get a kick out of it, ”he said.

Three days after his snow removal process went viral, Browning’s driveway was still clear.
