Summary
At a time when espionage is mainly driven by packets of data processed by teams of analysts, Section Eleven’s approach is more practical and deals with criminal organizations that live and operate outside of electronic communications. When the rest of the secret services fail, they call Section Eleven.
As the Section 11 agent, your job is to find direct solutions to emerging threats – especially by smashing people’s faces into things.

Publisher Those Awesome Guys and developer Rose City Games have announced Floppy Knights, a game that combines the tactical elements of games like Advance Wars and Fire Emblem with the deck building mechanics of games like Slay the Spire. It will launch for PC via Steam sometime in 2020.
Here is an overview of the game via Those Awesome Guys:

What do you get when you take a microprocessor to a knight fight? A deck construction, sword swing, tactical adventure! Meet the Floppy Knights: tangible projections from floppy disks that help Phoebe and Carlton make money and maybe even save the world in the process.
story
This game was originally conceived by Marlowe Dobbe in the same concept jam that Rose City started the ideas for our two previous games: The World Next Door and Cat Lady! At this concept jam, which happened about two years ago, we know we really liked the idea, but we sat on it for a while while working on our other two tracks first.
However, the time we spent with this concept was valuable: as we continued to advance with The World Next Door and Cat Lady, Marlowe was able to evolve the world and its characters. While the original pitch focused more on the IP for this, we realized that we wanted to do something tactical (similar to Advance Wars). We had the opportunity to develop developer tools with Intel, and with the funds gained we were able to start the first prototypes for Floppy Knights.
In the fall of 2019, we also created a paper prototype of the game, which resulted in feedback nights with our local indie game community to get feedback on the gameplay. We started our search for a publisher at PAX West 2019 and we’re excited to announce that we’re currently partnering with Those Awesome Guys to bring Floppy Knights to life!
